Blog, blog, blog. Is that the internet equivalent of blah, blah, blah? In this day and age people are almost always talking via the internet and rarely face to face it seems. Whatever happened to the good ol’ days of sitting on your front porch and watching the neighborhood kids run all over the place while you sip a cold beer and chat with the neighbors? Granted I am not even close to that generation as I belong to the generation of blog, blog, bloggers, but still? I guess I am old fashioned, but I prefer to think that I have that elderly Scottish gentleman chivalrous air about me. I could see myself sitting in a pub back home, telling tales to all the youngin’s about the Scotland of yesteryear. Who knows? Perhaps one day in the future, I may find myself doing just that.
Blogosphere?

The people talking on the porch have the conversation between themselves, too.
The idea that what I say goes out on the internet makes me uneasy.
Will something come back to bite me?

I can relate to your feelings but still, it’s nice to read the thoughts of so many folks at once. I like seeing the photos too!

Well put, Scottishlibrarian. I often feel there is something wrong with me since I don’t have a cellphone, and even if I did, can’t think of all that much I’d want to say into it. And now a blog – who has all this extra time to say what?
